We are hiring a team to help us run our new Annapolis store. We’re looking for colleagues with retail experience.
At select times we may hire seasonal colleagues to help us with summer and holiday sales, mostly between Thanksgiving & the New Year. If you are interested, please drop us a line.
We sell cooking tools, tableware, personal care goods, and home goods. We look for people who are comfortable consulting with others. Because we often work alone, we are looking for someone who is a self-starter; comfortable managing store operations with limited direction. You must be comfortable navigating multiple requests at the same time and leading others through the decision making process.
Key to this is your knowledge or passion for cooking. We frequently assist guests who are looking for very specific types of cooking and baking tools. We are happy to teach and train, but you must possess a natural interest in cooking.
Additionally, we carry a diverse collection of small batch bath and body products, kitchen and home linen. Our store manager is expected to learn about our independent lines and communicate the brand story to our guests.
The health and safety of our guest and team is a top priority. As shop owners we promote metering of guests inside the store, we limit the total number of guests allowed inside the store at a time, and we provide sanitation tools to staff and guests. All staff and customers are expected to wear masks, at all times, while inside the store. Staff will be provided with masks as needed.
We expect our store manager to support day to day sanitation and participate in cleaning to reduce risk to staff and guests.
Retail works weekends. If you are interested in a seasonal position, you must be available during holidays and weekends. Our new Annapolis location will be open seven days a week, 10-7. Morning and early afternoon-early evening shifts are available.
We are closed Thanksgiving & Christmas Day.
